Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, who can see it, and how to have it deleted. In force from 3 September 2026.

1. What we collect

  • Contact details: the parent's name, WhatsApp number, and email address if you send one.
  • Student details: first name, age, level, and timezone. We do not ask for a national ID number, a photograph or a home address.
  • Progress records: what was covered in each lesson and the teacher's notes, which are the basis of the weekly report.
  • Payment data: we neither collect nor see it. Payment happens at PayPal or Zain Cash, and we receive only a confirmation of the transaction.
  • Site analytics: anonymised visit statistics (visits, pages, country), with no advertising trackers.

2. Why we collect it

To deliver the service and nothing else: setting the schedule, matching the student to the right teacher, writing the weekly report, issuing the invoice, and answering your questions. We do not use your data for any marketing purpose without your permission.

3. Who can see it

The school's administration and the teacher assigned to the student, and nobody else. We do not sell data and never share it with advertising third parties. The service providers we use — Zoom for lessons, WhatsApp for communication, PayPal and Zain Cash for payment — process your data under their own privacy policies.

4. Recording children's lessons

We spell this out because it matters to every parent:

  • Lessons are not recorded by default. Recording happens only when a parent explicitly asks for it in writing.
  • A requested recording is sent to the parent and deleted from our side within 30 days.
  • A child's name, face and voice are never used in any marketing material, post or advert, in any circumstance, even with permission — this policy has no exception.
  • A parent may not publish a lesson recording showing a teacher's voice or image without her written permission.

5. How long we keep it

We keep contact details and progress records for the duration of the subscription and for 12 months after the last lesson, then delete them. Invoices are kept for the period Jordanian tax law requires.

6. Your rights

  • Request a copy of everything we hold about you and your student.
  • Request correction of any inaccurate detail.
  • Request deletion of your data in full — carried out within 14 days, except where law requires us to keep something.
  • Withdraw consent to any optional processing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights: info@katateeb.online.

7. Cookies

The site is static and uses no advertising trackers and shares no data with ad networks. We use a single item of local storage in your browser to remember which currency you chose for price display; it never leaves your device and is never sent to us.

8. Changes

When this policy is amended the effective date at the top of the page is updated, and existing subscribers are told of any substantial change on WhatsApp.
