Quran Classes for Women with Certified Female Teachers

A certified female teacher, a private one-to-one room, and a camera you can keep off. The course starts where you are: recitation correction first if you need it, then structured memorisation and revision.

  • Always a female teacher
  • 30 minutes
  • Camera off on request
  • A time you choose

A free 15-minute intro — no card, no sign-up

Quran classes for women at Katateeb Online are live one-to-one lessons of 30 minutes taught by a certified female teacher — there are no male teachers on the team at all. The course opens by assessing your recitation in the first lesson, then follows one of two tracks depending on what you need: recitation correction and tajweed, or structured memorisation with cyclical revision. The camera can stay off — voice alone is enough to recite and be corrected. Start with a free 15-minute intro — no card and no sign-up — and inside a monthly subscription the lesson price is $7.5, so cost starts at $30 a month. Times are set in your own timezone, Saturday to Thursday between 8am and 8pm Makkah time.

Two tracks — you choose what fits

What stops most women from starting is not a lack of time but the embarrassment of reciting before others while still uncertain. A one-to-one lesson removes it: nobody hears you except your teacher.

From the start

Recitation correction

  • An honest assessment of your reading in the first lesson
  • Articulation points and letter qualities, practised inside the verse
  • Tajweed rules applied, not memorised as theory
  • No comparison and no embarrassment — nobody in the room but you and your teacher
Once recitation is sound

Structured memorisation

  • A written monthly plan built around the time you actually have
  • Recitation at the start of every lesson and cyclical revision
  • Starting from Juz Amma or from wherever you stopped before
  • The plan adjusts without apology when life gets busy

What makes this lesson suitable for you

A female teacher, without exception

Everyone who teaches at Katateeb is a certified woman. This is not an option we provide on request — it is how the whole team is built.

Camera off if you prefer

Reciting and correcting depend on the voice. Turning the camera off takes nothing away from the lesson.

A time you choose

Lesson times are set in your timezone. Evening slots are available for anyone working or with children at home.

No recording, no publishing

Lessons are not recorded unless you ask, and your name and voice are never used in any advert.

Can I start if I don't read Arabic well?

Yes, and this is the most common starting point we see. If the reading itself is unsteady we begin with the Noorani Qaida — letters, articulation and joining — before any memorisation. If the reading is sound and only the tajweed slips, we start straight into recitation correction. The first lesson decides which of the two tracks fits you; you are not asked to decide before it.

Child safety

The boundaries of every lesson

  • A password-locked Zoom room
  • You may attend any lesson unannounced
  • Camera off on request
  • No recording, and never your child's name or face in an advert

Questions about this course

Is the teacher always a woman?+
Yes, always and without exception. Everyone who teaches at Katateeb Online is a certified woman — we have no male teachers at all, so there is no chance your lesson is reassigned to a man when schedules are tight.
Can I study with my camera off?+
Yes. Reciting and correcting depend on the voice, and turning the camera off takes nothing away from the lesson. Many of our students learn by voice alone from the first lesson and are never asked to justify it.
Can I start if I don't read Arabic well?+
Yes. If the reading itself is unsteady we begin with the Noorani Qaida before memorisation. If the reading is sound and only the tajweed slips, we start with recitation correction. The first lesson decides the track.
What times are available for someone working or with children?+
We teach every day of the week — Saturday and Sunday included — between 9am and 9pm Jordan time, and your slot is fixed in your own timezone. Evenings and early mornings are the most requested, and you can reschedule up to 24 hours ahead.
Are the lessons recorded?+
No. Lessons are live and are not recorded unless you explicitly ask for it. Your name and voice are never used in any marketing material in any case.
What's the difference between a group halaqa and a one-to-one lesson?+
A group halaqa moves at the majority's pace, and you may recite once a fortnight. In a one-to-one lesson every minute is yours: full recitation and direct correction every time, on a plan built around your schedule rather than the group's.
How much do your Quran classes for women cost?+
The intro meeting is free — 15 minutes by appointment, no card and no sign-up — and there is no paid trial lesson. Inside a monthly subscription the lesson price is $7.5: $30 a month for one lesson a week, $60 for two, $90 for three. No registration fee, and no auto-renewal — you pay the next month only if you want to.
