Refund and Payment Policy
Written out in full before you pay, not after.
At Katateeb Online there is no auto-renewal — nothing is charged unless you pay the next month yourself, so there is no subscription to cancel in the first place. Refunds have three cases: a subscription stopped after the first lesson is refunded less a 10% processing fee; from the second lesson onward there is no refund; and a lesson we cancel is made up within the same month or refunded in full — your choice. The intro meeting is free, so no payment and no refund arise from it. Payment is through PayPal, by card without an account, or Zain Cash inside Jordan, and we never store your card details.
When is money returned?
- The intro meeting: free, with no payment attached — so no refund arises and no commitment follows.
- After the first lesson: if you stop the subscription after the first lesson, it is refunded less a 10% processing fee, when you tell us on WhatsApp.
- From the second lesson onward: no refund — the lessons were taken and the teacher's time was held. There is no auto-renewal anyway, so nothing is charged.
- A lesson we cancel: made up or refunded in full — your choice.
Rescheduling and make-up lessons
- Make-up lessons within the same month for anything cancelled with 24 hours' notice
- Rescheduling up to 24 hours before, at no cost
- Rescheduling: with 24 hours' notice, at no cost.
- A lesson the student missed: made up within the same month if we are told 24 hours ahead.
- Changing teacher: available at no cost and with no break in the subscription.
- No auto-renewal: a subscription ends when the paid month ends — no notice period and no cancellation fee.
What the price does not include
- The Noorani Qaida book or a Mus'haf — bought by the parent (the digital copy is free)
- Printed and shipped paper certificates — the digital certificate is free
- Lessons outside published working hours, which are arranged by agreement
How do you request a refund?
Write to us on WhatsApp from the same number you booked with, giving the parent's name and the payment date. We reply within an hour during working hours, and the refund is issued through PayPal back to the method you paid with; it usually takes 3 to 10 working days depending on your bank — that is your bank's timescale, not ours.
