My child was born here and doesn't speak Arabic
We start from the letter with the Noorani Qaida. Instructions are in English at first, then shrink gradually until the lesson runs in Arabic alone.
Online Quran & Arabic — for children, teens and women
One certified teacher for one student, on Zoom, at a time that suits you, from anywhere.
Katateeb Online is an online Quran school teaching Quran memorisation and Arabic in live one-to-one lessons on Zoom, for children aged 4 to 15 and for women, with certified female Quran teachers. A lesson is 30 minutes, and you start with a free 15-minute intro and level check — no card and no sign-up — then a monthly subscription at $7.5 a lesson, from $30 a month. There are four courses: Noorani Qaida online for absolute beginners, Quran memorisation for kids and teens, Quran and recitation correction for women, and Arabic for children who do not speak it at home. Slots are fixed in your own timezone, and scheduling and the weekly report happen on WhatsApp.
Who is this for?
Every situation needs a different starting point. These are the ones parents write to us about most — find yours.
My child was born here and doesn't speak Arabic
We start from the letter with the Noorani Qaida. Instructions are in English at first, then shrink gradually until the lesson runs in Arabic alone.
He joined a circle and quit after a month
A group lesson moves at the majority's pace. A one-to-one lesson moves at your child's, so he never feels behind and never waits.
My daughter is uncomfortable with a male teacher
All our teachers are certified women, and the camera can stay off — voice alone is enough to recite and be corrected.
I want to correct my own recitation, not my child's
The women's course starts where you are: recitation correction first if you need it, then structured memorisation and revision.
I don't know where to start with my child
The first lesson itself assesses his level, and you receive the suggested starting point and the right frequency in writing afterwards.
He memorises but his recitation has errors
The teen track combines memorisation with letter-by-letter tajweed correction and cyclical revision of what was learned before.

Child safety
Before curricula and prices — this is what every mother wants settled first.
Only your child and his teacher enter. No strangers, no groups.
Sit beside your child or watch from across the room — no notice, no permission needed.
For girls and women, voice alone is enough to recite and be corrected.
We record only if you ask, and never use your child's name, face or voice in any advert.

Letters and their articulation points, then joining words, then elongations and sukun — ending with reading a full surah correctly, unprompted.
Beginner track 4–8 by repetition with pronunciation correction; teen track 9–15 with recitation, tajweed and structured memorisation.
A female teacher, camera off if you prefer, and a time you choose. From recitation correction to memorisation and revision.
