The Noorani Qaida PDF is the standard beginner's reading primer for the Quran in digital form: roughly forty pages taking a reader from the isolated Arabic letters through joined shapes, short vowels, tanween, elongation, sukoon and shaddah, to the basic tajweed rules and reading a complete surah. You can download it below free and without giving an email address. Used at home, the file is best worked one page a day rather than one lesson a week — five minutes of daily reading aloud consolidates faster than a long weekly session, because reading is a motor skill. What the PDF cannot do is tell you whether your child's articulation is correct: the letters that a non-Arabic ear cannot separate — ح and ه, س and ص, ذ and ز and ظ — are exactly the ones that go wrong silently, and they harden with every repetition. One page a day, not one lesson a week

Reading is a motor skill: it consolidates through frequency, not duration. Five minutes daily beats thirty minutes weekly, every time.

Read it aloud yourself first

The child copies what he hears before he decodes what he sees. If you are unsure of your own pronunciation, play a recitation of the page instead — but never let him guess.

Stop at the first hesitation

Repeat that one line until it is fluent rather than finishing the page. A page read badly is worse than half a page read well.

Do not skip the practice lessons

They contain no new rule, which is exactly why they get skipped — and why the student stalls three lessons later.

Print the current page

Most children read Arabic script noticeably better on paper than on screen at this stage, and a printed page stops them scrolling ahead.

What can the book not teach on its own?

The letters a non-Arabic ear cannot separate are exactly the ones that go wrong silently.

Six sounds account for most correction time in a beginner’s lesson: ح and ه, س and ص, ذ, ز and ظ, inconsistent madd, an unheld shaddah, and guessing a familiar word from memory instead of reading it. Is the Noorani Qaida PDF free to download?+
Yes, and no email address is required. We do not gate it behind a form, because a parent looking for a book at nine in the evening should be able to get it and start.
Which edition is this?+
We publish an edition that may be freely redistributed, and the file itself states its source and print details. If you already own a printed copy, use that — the page numbers in our lessons follow the standard sequence, not one particular printing.
How do I use the PDF with my child at home?+

Can I teach my child from the PDF without a teacher?+
You can teach the letter shapes. What you cannot do, unless you already recite well yourself, is hear that your child's ح is coming out as a ه — and that is the part that matters, because an articulation error at this stage hardens with every repetition. Do you print and ship a paper copy?+
No. We recommend buying a printed copy locally or from any online bookshop; almost every Islamic bookshop stocks it. The digital file is enough to start with today.
